Kitsilano is a vibrant, residential neighborhood known for its laid back vibes, yoga boutiques, and outdoor activities. Additionally, Kitsilano boasts many different dining options, including vegetarian spots and waterfront restaurants. We’ve gathered a few of our favorite dining options in Kitsilano for you to try during your trip to Vancouver!
Boathouse Restaurant – Kit’s Beach
While this restaurant has a few different locations in Vancouver, we especially love the views offered in it’s Kitsilano location on the English Bay. This seafood spot is a go to for guests looking to try the cuisine that best fits the pacific northwest. You can enjoy your meal here either at the stylish bar or at the dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows. It’s even open for breakfast! When you go, make sure you try the oyster bar!

LOCAL Public Eatery Kitsilano
Located super close to Kit’s Beach, LOCAL is a year-round neighborhood spot where you can grab a bite and a pint. They have 18 craft brews on tap, a patio, and plenty of TVs for watching sports. The view is amazing too – you’ll see the English Bay and the North Shore Mountains from the patio. If you go, make sure you try their iconic El Caesar and Crispy Chicken sandwich – yum!! Also known as LPE, it offers late night happy hours 7 days a week!

Tacofino Kitsilano Dining
While it may feel weird to try a Mexican food spot in Canada, we guarantee that you won’t leave disappointed with the cuisine at Tacofino. While it has multiple locations in Vancouver, we love the Kitsilano Beach location as it’s the Kit’s Burrito Bar! You’ll feel like you’ve transported to Southern California with the ambiance, but then also with the latin flare. Their all day menu features plenty of tacos to choose from, but we definitely recommend you try the burritos. It’s located right off West 4th, the main drag in Kitsilano. And did we mention that they have a food and drink happy hour from 3-6?? You’re welcome!
Trattoria – Kitsilano Dining
Also located on West 4th, Trattoria is a cozy Italian spot that’s equal parts stylish and comfortable. They serve pizza, pastas, and family-style platters with a homestyle flair.
Their happy hour is from 2-5 daily and features both food and drinks at a discount! And if you happen to stop by on a Wednesday, make sure you order a bottle of wine – their bottles are 50% on Wine Wednesdays!
Gobble
Last, but certainly not least, is Gobble. Also located on West 4th, this spot features healthy, hearty bowls you are sure to enjoy. You can either choose from one of their signature bowls, or build you own! It’s perfect to either grab a quick bite after a pickup game near the beach or order takeout to-go.
It’s open from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays.
