The Pacific National Exhibition, also referred to as the PNE, has run yearly in Vancouver for over 100 years! Take advantage of the last days it’s open as its fair season ends on September 5th!

The PNE is a fair that features rides, carnival games, farm animals, shows, and concerts – Nelly is performing on Friday, September 2nd and the Beach Boys are playing on Sunday, September 4th!

There are plenty of other live musical guests other nights you can enjoy if you can’t make those nights. Other activities this year include a Cooking Stage, Dinosaurs Around the World exhibit, and Metro Vancouver’s Together We Make Our Region Strong showcase.

Admission to the fair is $20 for adults, $14 for students and seniors, and $7 for children ages 4-12.

Check out the Richmond Night Market

Open on weekends, the Richmond Night Market is the largest night market in North America, with over 1 million people visiting each year! It runs on Friday through Sunday nights through October 10th this year.

There’s so much to do at the Richmond Night Market – eat, shop, sip, and explore! There’s a Rainbow maze, plenty and plenty of food vendors, and live performance son the Main Stage such as musicians, dance teams, and even martial arts displays! And did we mention there’s food? Explore a Farmers Market on a Sunday Morning

Vancouver offers plenty of Farmer’s Markets you can check out on a Sunday in September – pursue the many vendors and perhaps buy some fresh food for a picnic at the beach! If you aren’t hungry, you’re still sure to enjoy wandering around the many shops that offer art and homemade goodies.
