The beginning of Fall is usually and relatively quiet in and around the city as it is the prelude to Christmas but with still so much to do between now and Christmas.  Let’s take a look as to what’s happening in and around the city for this month.

October is always a fun month with various things to do not just in Vancouver but in the Lower Mainland as well.  Not to mention that the leaves on the trees are starting to turn into a magical gold and orange and the foliage is absolutely stunning!  The beauty of Stanley Park as you stroll down the Sea Wall is absolutely stunning!  You won’t want to miss the waves of the ocean crashing into shore either.  Perhaps a trip over to Granville Island to pick up some pumpkin pie or apple crisp?  Make sure you take advantage of the False Creek Ferry if you head over.

If you’re a fan of sunsets, be sure to stand at the edge of English Bay just before the sun goes down. In the fall the usually goes down between 6pm and 7pm.  Don’t miss the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the warm colours of autumn, such as blue, gold, orange, purple, red and yellow dancing in the sky especially during the fall months and since the days get a little shorter, you won’t want to miss any sunset.

Did we mention that there are a ton of things to do in Vancouver in October?  We look forward to seeing you soon.
