Are you in the mood for some laughs? Maybe some giggles, too?
Coming to Vancouver for ten hilarious days of laughter from Thursday February 14 until Saturday February 23, be prepared for your favourite stand-up, podcast, improv and sketch performances, alongside the breakout stars you didn’t even know you loved in the “Best of the West” series! This year promises to be a laugh for everyone where the Just for Laughs NorthWest festival will present a free 3-day Block Party right in the heart of downtown Vancouver, where all comedy fans can enjoy Just for Laughs: Gags on the big screen, games, live music, food trucks and even some special guests.
Vancouver’s own Seth Rogen along with his friend, Evan Goldberg will be headlining this year’s shenanigans along with Howie Mandel and some of his friends, too. We can’t forget about Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Aziz Ansari and Dr. Ken Jeong as well (and, yes he is a real physician).
Most shows and events will be happening at either the Vogue Theatre or at the Orpheum. Make sure you get your tickets to all of these shows as soon as possible as most might already be completely sold out due to popular demand.
Don’t forget about the 2nd edition of the Vancouver Just For Laughs Film Festival – part of JFL NorthWest. It will be taking over the city from the same time of February 14th to 23rd. Vancouver, often referred to as “Hollywood North,” is the ideal place to host the world’s most exciting comedy film festival, as it boasts a great appreciation for cinema and also attracts many film productions and stars. Programming will include exciting short and feature film screenings, premieres, in conversations, riveting industry speakers, panels and more!
