What’s happening in Vancouver this upcoming May?

Lots going on in and around Vancouver this upcoming May especially since our beloved Vancouver Canucks are not in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, here are some great and fantastic ideas for you to do while visiting Vancouver this spring.

Tourist season is fully underway where the city will soon be filled to the brink of visitors from here, there and everywhere.

Colonel Chris Hadfield, known as Canada’s “man on the moon” and the “most famous astronaut since Neil Armstrong” will be speaking at the Orpheum Theatre on Monday May 6th.

Did we forget to mention that there is a Star Wars Day on May 4th as well — “May the Fourth be with You.” Cruise ship season officially gets underway in early May and this promises to be one of the busiest cruise ship seasons in Vancouver yet. Davie Street – Also known as the food and restaurant street of Vancouver has a lot of new and exciting restaurants worth trying. From Italian to Chinese to some of the old local favourites! Davie Street is now becoming the “full-time” hub for everything for a foodie’s delight. If you’re craving something in particular, it’s almost a given to find it along Davie and all of it is just a stone’s throw away and a small walking distance away from our hotel.
