Halloween events not to miss during October in Vancouver

Ooooooohhhhhhhhh Its almost here that night where the lost souls and tormented ghouls come out of the darkness to scare the life out of us, and my oh my do we not get enough of it!
Halloween in Vancouver is a very big deal and there are plenty of events to enjoy or scare you silly for young and old, family and friends.

FRIGHT NIGHTS AT THE PLAYLAND October 8th to October 31st
One of Western Canada’s favorate haunted locations – during the summer Playland is full of colour laughter and life, but in October this all turns a little sinister and is the perfect location for the daring and thrill seekers that are looking for a brilliant scare!
Consisting of 7 haunted houses, 15 thrilling rides and 2 incredibly scary shows guaranteed to royally scare the wits out of you.

THE STANLEY PARK HALLOWEEN GHOST TRAIN – Day of the Dead October 8th to October 31st
Hey who out there has always wanted to be serenaded by a Mariachi band made up of cockroaches while riding a train through a tunnel of flames? You do, well you are in luck as this is the place for you! The Stanley Park Ghost train will have just that and more!
With the Lord and Lady Death presiding the area, there is also a picnic where you may or may not be in safe hands with the friendly souls who just want to return to the land of the living and dance with the 12 foot skeleton who is in attendance, you will have to check it out to find out if you can come out unscathed – you have been warned!

HAUNTED VANCOUVER TROLLEY TOUR October 14th to October 31st
The Vancouver Trolley Company and Vancouver Police Museum are partnering together again for a haunted evening of murderous tales and infamous Vancouver ghost stories onboard haunted Vancouver trolley tours.
You will get to experience and learn about the grisly past of Vancouver with tales and stories that will be sure to send a shiver down your spine.
The tour also stops to visit the Mountainview Cemetery where the troubled spirits occupy their time. When you arrive at the Vancouver Police Museum you will climb the stairs to the city of Vancouver’s first city morgue where over 15,000 autopsies have been performed, including Errol Flynn. You never know if you will stumble onto another autopsy already in progress….

This 2.5 hour Haunted Trolley Tour will depart evenings starting October 14th-31st (excluding Sundays and Mondays – tour will operate Sunday October 30th and Monday October 31st) from Canada Place at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm; returning to Canada Place.
