CAPTURE PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL April 1st to 23rd
Nurturing emerging talent and spark public dialogue photography as an art form and a vessel for communication. This is also a great time of year for capturing your own pictures of the city as Springtime in Vancouver nature really comes alive with spectacular colours, hopefully this festival will encourage inspiration and creativity!
VANCOUVER CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL – March 30 to April 23rd
Spring seems to be taking its time to reach us and it has been a slow start for the Cherry Blossoms to emerge, but they are now starting to wake up and we anticipate in a few days with Sunshine falling down on us there will be an explosion of the Blossoms in the coming weeks of April.
ICE HOCKEY – VANCOUVER CANUCKS
So it hasn’t been the greatest season for the Canucks but as they are not going to make the playoffs we may get the chance to see some new young players making their debuts. Without the pressure of the playoffs hanging over the team will we see the new players shine and give a glimpse of what maybe for the new season later in the year? We are keeping our fingers crossed that this could create some interesting competition and a new approach in the style of play which the Canucks so badly need!
