It’s hard to imagine that September is nearly over and it’s almost spooky season, but Halloween 2022 is right around the corner! There are plenty of fun activities for you to celebrate the holiday in Vancouver this fall. From fall family fun to spooky events sure to make you scream, check out four ways for you to celebrate Halloween in Vancouver this year.


Haunted Hippie Halloween 2022

After three years of not having this annual event, Haunted Hippie Halloween 2022 is back in Vancouver the weekend before Halloween. This event takes place in Granville Island with the actual location will be released closer to the event date. It will feature entertainers and DJs across multiple stages across the island. Fright Nights

If you want to for sure be scared this Halloween season, plan to attend Fright Nights at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) from October 7-31 this year. Playland at PNE will transform into a terrifying experience filled with haunted houses, creepy decor, roaming monsters, and live performances. It’s been a few years since they’ve had this event, so make sure to check it out! Note that this year they will have a new ride called Skybender, along with an opening “scaremony.”

Halloween Howl 2022

Looking for a family-fun option to take your kids to this Halloween? Check out the Halloween Howl event on Halloween 2022 weekend at the gym at the Kitsilano Community Centre. It will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, and feature Halloween activities, crafts, cookie decorating, and face painting! Costumes are definitely encouraged – for both little ones and their parents! It’s recommended that you pre-register but drop-in tickets can be purchased the day of for $7 if space allows. Halloween Market Langley

Last, but certainly not least is Halloween Market Langley at Willouby Hall. This fall market features tons of vendors and family-friendly fun. It takes place on October 19th and 20th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fist 50 children will receive a free gift and there will be door prizes as well!
