A guide to the best Restaurants in the area Pt 2

As we are so spoiled for choice when it comes to dining, we had to spread this segment over a few blogs…so to continue the theme, please read on for some of the best restaurant choices in the area.

SEAFOOD
This is the Pacific Northwest, and this also means that we are incredibly lucky to be in an area that is literally swimming with delicious Seafood, most notably Pacific Northwest Salmon.

The majority of Restaurants, bars and cafes will have some sort of Fish Dish on the menu, but our pick for Seafood are the following..
The Boathouse – Located down on Beach Avenue/Burnaby St and overlooking the stunning English Bay, here you will find a fantastic menu that showcases a great and vast menu of seafood.

The Sandbar – A very popular establishment found on Granville Island, this is a real gem, and has an Asian infusion twist to the menu which sees Sushi and North American cuisine all together, so if one fancies Sushi, the other would rather go with traditional Fish and chips, and another needs a burger, try here and eat in style…its surprisingly affordable too!

Another alternative is The C Restaurant, wonderful creations and an expansive menu, ideally situated close to False Creek and Burrard Bridge.

GLUTEN FREE Restaurants and Awesome!
Quite often we are asked about the best Gluten free options in Vancouver, thankfully for those who need this there are a couple of great restaurants that will fulfill your needs and they are very good establishments too.
Lazziza which is located on Davie Street is fantastic, the menu is Mediterranean/Mid East style…it also boasts an excellent Wine and Beer list to perfectly compliment your meal.
Central Bisto, A great little place down on Denman Street, boasting the finest Organic ingredients and local produce with a seasonal menu to change things up, also a great place for Martini’s, craft beers and a little live Jazz if you fancy it!

Now, as we are an apartment hotel, you do know that you do have fully equipped kitchens at your disposal, (this includes an Oven and stove, Fridge, fully stocked with essential utensils, cutlery pots and pans – so please use them, and, for your convenience we have a few grocery stores that are in close proximity to the Sunset Inn and Suites.

Check out these stores, West Valley Market, Kins Market (good discounted produce at the back of the store) And then there is Largest Supermarket (formally known as Supavalu). If you are needing essentials there is also the Shoppers Drug Mart too.
