At Sunset Inn & Suites, guests visit because of the large, spacious suites and terrific location, but they keep returning because of the wonderful staff.
We have always been independent and family-owned. This has allowed us to stay away from the cookie-cutter style and anonymity of hotels run by large franchise companies. This enables us to respond to guests’ needs quickly, without having to run everything by a remote corporate headquarters.
Historically, our building was originally an apartment building called the Las Palmas Tower. In the beginning, the suites were designed as a home to couples and families for several years at a time. Now, as a hotel, this allows us to have suites that are as spacious as an apartment. We are currently completing a $3,000,000 renovation on the hotel. The renovation includes upgrades to furnishings, in-room finish outs, and custom-designed pieces for the hotel.
Most importantly, our company policy and procedures manual contain one key sentence; treat each other and each guest as we would a member of our family. Thus, we take pride in our dedication to helping every guest enjoy their stay with us and their visit to Vancouver.
