Sunset Inn & Suites… Our Secret Sauce

Our guests tell us they were first drawn to Sunset Inn & Suites because of our attractive, spacious suites and terrific location, but they return time and again because of our people.

We have always been independent and family-owned. This has allowed us to stay away from the cookie-cutter style and anonymity of hotels run by large franchise companies. It has also enabled us to respond to our guests' needs quickly, without having to run everything by a remote corporate headquarters. In fact, our company policy and procedures manual contains only one sentence: treat each other and our guests as we would a member of our family. We take pride in our dedication to helping every guest enjoy their stay with us and their visit to Vancouver.

Our building has its origins as an apartment building …the Las Palmas Tower. This may explain why we offer the largest suites in Vancouver, with fully equipped kitchens and private balconies. Our suites were built to house couples and families for stays of several years.

We are just completing a $3,000,000 dollar renovation, with every surface and furnishing throughout the hotel to be brand new (and in many cases, custom-designed) to better serve and delight our guests. But we're not stopping there. We are committed to continue improving our product and services, to remain a step ahead in anticipating our guests' needs.
